TV & Hi-Fi Cabinets
Once upon a time, when televisions were bulky and unattractive items, the main purpose of a television cabinet was to hide it away. However, in recent years there has been a trend towards displaying the television itself and so it’s less likely to be shut away behind doors.
Another trend of recent years is the enlargement of screen sizes. It’s not unusual to have a 55” screen or larger. We will design the furniture around the technology but try to consider future-proofing the design to take into account possible upgrades.
More and more of our furniture incorporating televisions have multi-function use. Therefore, we will include drawers for CDs & DVDs, display shelving & cupboards. The furniture and the television have become the focal point very often. This is an area of our work that will always be led by the prevailing technology of the day
