Whether it’s a small wardrobe to be built into an alcove or a large dressing room, we can help. Typically, nowadays we tend to use high-quality melamine faced chipboard (MFC) for the interiors. The choice of wood-grain effects, their quality and price make it an obvious choice. It eliminates the additional cost of lacquering or painting and is odourless. All our carcases have a very durable, matching 2mm thick edging. We, do of course, still use real wood veneers for carcases should you prefer it.
Very often our wardrobes will incorporate LED lighting and illuminated hanging rails. These lights are operated by motion-sensors and come on automatically when a door is opened. Wardrobes often have internal drawers and these can be glass-fronted. They will always be mounted on soft-closing, concealed runners. There are many other interiors fittings that we can incorporate such as shoe shelves, tie & belt racks, pull-down rails, mirrors and safes. The choice of doors is endless, from the very traditional raised & fielded panel to the contemporary flush, high-gloss type. Doors can be hung on traditional, butt-type hinges or on concealed, soft-closing hinges. The choice of handles is vast and we can also offer doors on push-to-open catches.
